See Medieval Swords in Action at the Local Renaissance Fair
Do you want to know the best place to see medieval swords in this day and age? Well, aside from going to a museum or checking out all the historical replica swords that hang on my walls, the best place to go would be a Renaissance fair. But there is so much more to see at a good renaissance fair than some fancy swordplay. You can also catch jousting, shows, jugglers, and have some of the best food you’ll ever taste. It is a good place to learn a bit about history while having a good time – granted the real middle ages and Renaissance was a far more deadly place. There are also plenty of craft booths and souvenir stands so you can pick up something nice to remember your day – and best of all, there is absolutely no chance of catching the plague or being run through by an overzealous knight!
