My Vacation on a Montana Dude Ranch
Life is so hectic in the city. Traffic, dry cleaners, smog and deadlines; they all add to the stress and unhappiness of modern life. So I recently took a vacation to the great state of Montana, just to get away from it all. I spent my time at a dude ranch in central Montana. It was a wonderful trip that I’ll never forget. The unique experience that a dude ranch in Montana has to offer includes the opportunity to ride horses, camp out under the biggest sky on the planet, and even help shoe a horse! The thing that really makes Montana the perfect place to vacation, however, is the beauty of the state itself. The auburn mountains to the west; the fertile plains to the east. You will never know the meaning of the phrase star-filled night until you have spent one out in Big Sky Country. Now that Im back at work, I still think about my time out at that dude ranch. I certainly wouldnt hesitate to go back there again, and if you have never been to one before, I would certainly put spending a vacation on a Montana dude ranch on the short list of things to do before you die.
